latest news:We just got back home from
Denmark where we recorded drums for the entire album. I must admit we had
some unexpected technical and tuning problems with the drums, but it was not
anything more than a test of of our patience and skills. You learn how to
deal with those things having done records for twelve years and now the
drums ended up sounding fantastic so we are optimistic and full of
expectations going into the next session. Frost litterally killed the drum
kit and altogether did an impressive job. It is frightening to think of how
good he can be. Right now guitar bits and pieces are getting their final
treatment and I will also be hooking up with the Norwegian composer Řivind
Westby to arrange some real doomsday horns for several songs on the album
with the Norwegian composer Řivind Westby, starting in a couple of days. It
has been a idea of mine since Dark Medieval Times and now we're finally
doing it.

Continuing the new way of writing and working on song arragements in
remote places, Satyr just returned from another session held in a
cabin by the sea on Norway's second biggest populated island. Now we
are preparing for a test-recording for two new songs that will take
place three weeks from now.
